This standard is applicable to machines produced in accordance with IEC 60034-12, adhering to the voltage limits established in that document. It does not cover the protection of bearings and other mechanical components.
NOTE 1: Although the temperature values specified in this standard are higher than those in IEC 60034-1, there is no conflict between them.
